Rubicon presents the last program in its concert series at the Ventura Fairgrounds September 7-9, 2020. The event, a cross between a live concert and drive-in, will celebrate with Music of the Knights: The Songs of Andrew Lloyd Webber, Elton John and Paul McCartney. Ted Neeley will brings his rock wail to “Gethsemane” from Jesus Christ Superstar (and other favorites), and you’ll also hear from powerhouses Teri Bibb, David Burnham, Tami Tappan Damiano, and Ty Taylor. Get tickets at Rubicon Theatre.

SIR ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER, SIR ELTON JOHN and SIR PAUL McCARTNEY are not only knights — they also happen to be three of the most successful songwriters of all time, with careers that span decades. Music of the Knights honors their lasting musical influence with songs like “Music of the Night,” “I Don’t Know How to Love Him,” “Don’t Cry for Me, Argentina,” “The Phantom of the Opera,” “Circle of Life,” “Can You Feel the Love Tonight,” “Your Song,” “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me,” “Yesterday,” “Hey Jude” and many more.

You posted above Thursday – Sat but it’s actually Mon—Wed, yes? And a bit pricey, especially now during many layoffs from COVID. Have a great show though, I love David Burnham.

Hey Robin, I’m glad someone else said something about the prices! I splurged on another drive-in show from Rubicon at almost a hundred bucks PER PERSON in a car, and even in front of the stage, we could neither see nor hear the act without the giant screen and the over-the-radio music. I’m glad there are fairly cheap tix for Knights in the back, as we can still watch the screen and listen to the show’s music through our radio from a galaxy far far away.
