LOVE, NOËL: THE SONGS AND LETTERS OF NOËL COWARD
A PERFORMANCE ON SCREEN

Written and Devised by Barry Day
Directed by Charlotte Moore
Filmed at The Players

Starring Steve Ross and KT Sullivan

August 11 – 15, 2020

Noël Coward would have loved that his name appears twice in Love, Noël: The Letters and Songs of Noël Coward, which will be shown beginning tonight for five performances only. Presented by Irish Rep, the entertainment interweaves his songs with personal letters sent between him and his famous friends over the years: Gertrude Lawrence, Marlene Dietrich, Greta Garbo, Elaine Stritch, Lynn Fontanne, Virginia Woolf, Edna Ferber, and the Queen Mother (the real one; that’s not an allusion to Mr. Coward).

Throughout this intimate performance, cabaret legends Steve Ross and KT Sullivan transform into some of the many characters that made up Coward’s unique life. They will also deliver some of Coward’s most popular ditties—rife with idiosyncratic musical phrasing and shrewd lyrics—including the jaunty “I Like America,” the torchy “Mad About the Boy,” and the bittersweet “If Love Were All,” summoning up timeless memories of an era that may be gone, but not forgotten.

After the sold-out run of the Irish Rep World Premiere production of Love, Noël in the summer of 2019, Irish Repertory Theatre is delighted to present it for you now.

Advance reservations are required. Your event link will be emailed 2 hours before your selected performance begins.
