COME TO THIS CABARET

Let’s face it folks. Not every Broadway musical is a winner. Yet even the biggest flops have songs that are revelations to those who never heard them. Discover some of these jewels this Friday with San Francisco’s 42nd Street Moon as they continue their “Full Moon Fridays: Live Cabaret” series on Friday nights at 8 p.m. PST, where you’ll hear different performers each week offering different shows. This Friday, July 17, 2020, enjoy a night of super musical theater songs from not so super musical theater shows. Previous outings have been Sondheim Week!, Couple’s Night and Funny Girls. Your favorite Moon singers (and maybe even some unexpected guests) bring you a little conversation and some awesome music. This is an terrific series, and I hope it lasts long after the pandemic’s end. Watch on their site or Facebook page.

And don’t miss 42nd Street’s other virtual programs: “Tuesday Talks Over the Moon” (Tuesdays at 8 PST) and “Quiz Me, Kate: Musical Theatre Trivia” (Sundays at 8 PST).
