THE COSMIC CIRCUS COMES TO TOWN
Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey’s traveling circus remains something to run away to see, if not join. For even diehard fans there are always new delights, and the current incarnation, Out Of This World, is taking audiences where no circus has gone before, upping the circus ante by conjuring up even greater make-believe than before. Yet you will still find the thrilling traditional aspects that have kept this circus going strong for 145 years–this cosmic voyage offers wonders of gravity-defying acrobats, orbital aerialists, majestic animals, fearless daredevils and humorous clowns. And for the first time, the show features thrill skaters.
Ringling is constantly changing, but this is more than that. The pachyderms have been retired and a new genre of circus is coming to shatter expectations, spark excitement and push the limits of what’s possible. And for the first time in its 145-year history, the tour will debut on the West Coast. The world premiere of this intergalactic adventure begins in Los Angeles at Staples Center before it moves to Ontario and Anaheim (click on the poster below for discount ticket info).
And this isn’t just a series of acts. The storyline filled with space-age family fun and technology will serve to deepen connection to the performers. Through the lens of a magic telescope capable of discovering the most spectacular circus stars in the galaxy, the artists will join the Circus Space Fleet on a heroic mission of good versus evil to bring performers back to Earth, traveling to interstellar worlds of sand, water, fire and ice.
